But when the only good vampire left is murdered, she knows she must avenge his death. The problem is that the murderer is her former boyfriend, Justin, who has not only become a vampire himself, but one of the most evil she has ever encountered. Lenah knows she will have to kill him in order to save her twenty-first-century friends, but can she do it? The answer is clearer when she discovers that Justin's taken her beloved Rhode hostage and is slowly turning him into a vampire too. But Rhode no longer remembers Lenah, and killing anyone is now against her nature. Will the heartbreak of seeing Rhode corrupted lead her to take a path from which she may never be able to return?

"Evil be he who thinketh evil."Where do I begin? Well, let me first say that Rebecca Maizel's first book, Infinite Days, has stayed with me since the day I picked it up. So beautiful. So much promise. I will also mention my one (and only tattoo) is of the quote "Evil be he who thinketh evil" in the same fashion as Lenah's. The whole premise of the story left me breathless. The series as a whole held so much promise, only to be completely destroyed by this conclusion. And I hate to say it. I reall [...]

So much has changed for Lenah since she first became human. After the events in Stolen Night, Lenah sacrificed everything for the people she loves including Rhode – her soulmate – in order to stop the vampire plague by leaving the twenty-first century. But when news comes to her that her ex-boyfriend – who is now a vampire – is ruling the vampire world with an iron fist and is willing to do anything to get Lenah back, Lenah has no other choice but return to the world she loves to help he [...]

This was basically me while reading this book. The villain was ehhhh, almost as annoying as the blond vampire from book two. I just couldn't believe someone would change so drastically because they got dumped. His life would be all about lacrosse and other girls but he chose a different path. Move on with your life, man! There are plenty fish in the sea. Just because you fell in love with a girl who's still hung up on her ex doesn't mean your life is over. You are still in high school for fuck's [...]

HOLY FUCK WHY IS THERE A THIRD BOOK.No no no no no. NO. NO. NOOOOOOOOO.edit (2/8/15): Okay, I'm going to do it. I'm finally going to read Eternal Dawn. After I reread the first two books--but I'm finally going to do it! Lord please help me survive this.Edit (4/26/15): i was afraid things were going to get effed up here in the third book. In a way, that's exactly what happened. The ending of the second book had a bittersweet ending to it, and I still believe that the author should have left it to [...]

What a beautiful conclusion to one of my favorite series! At the end of Stolen Nights, Lenah thought her sacrifice – her separation from Rhode and her departure from the twenty-first century – would be enough. In Eternal Dawn, she found that things weren’t moving in a merry direction and her twenty-first-century-friends were in huge trouble. Could she help to make things right for her friends? It was great to see Lenah reunited with her friends. I was particularly surprised by an old face th [...]

What an end to this amazing series.First off, I'll never get over how profound the writing can get in these books. They belong to the YA genre but there is such an in depth look into the main characters that they feel so much older. There was a new twist to vampires in this novel and a new set of kinda magical lore introuduced. Unexpected, but it worked. My babies Lenah and Rhode finally got their happily ever after and I loved it. They had suffered so much and I felt it aged them, their trials, b [...]

Pre-reading: After almost two years, I'll be able to read the final book *-* CAN'T WAIT!!After reading: This book was perfect. I loved it but I'm sad because the series is over now. I've been hooked on this story for three years and I can see how much the characters have grown up with me. I also felt bad for Justin, since I remembered him of Infinite Days and I was like "he is no longer the sweety lacrosse player we once knew". I was scared in case the series ended badly, but I shouldn't have be [...]

2.5 stars. I wouldn't say the book was bad. However throughout the process of reading it, I found myself mildly -and sometimes immensely- irritated not just by Lenah, but by the author's way of describing some particular scenes, emotions, etc. There were some plot changes that were just let's just say I'm glad I'm done with this trilogy and can move on to something new. I don't know why this has been happening to me lately; being slightly let down or disappointed by the last book in a series I lo [...]

3.5/5A little bit disappointed by this conclusion, I hoped more romantic scenes between Lenah and Rhode, and the switch vampire / human / vampire is annoying.I'm heartbroken for Justin, I loved the character in book one

What a beautiful conclusion to the wonderful Vampire Queen series. Wow, I really enjoyed this one.Full of surprises and things I didn't suspect. I really liked the combination between the old characters and new ones. And yes, I cried at the ending. It was so beautiful.

I enjoyed this series and was excited about the final book. The beginning was strange and straight to the point with her going straight back to modern world almost immediately which could of been more of a prolog I thought the idea was interesting with the villian being Justin and I enjoyed the strategy with the coven. But I was disappointed by the ending I think Tracey becoming a vampire was a waste and should of been done earlier just shoved at the end Also it went we have a cure, we are in lo [...]

The first book in this series was really good which is why I continued reading through book two and three despite the fact that I felt that the two books really weren’t that interesting to me anymore. I didn’t feel connected with the characters anymore and didn’t particularly like any of them either except for Tony in the third book. His personality was catchy and I liked that. However, I didn’t enjoy Lenah and her attitude at all. There were many times when I found her self-centered, an [...]

Full review at bronzelock619/2014/09/eternal-dawn-vampire-queen-3-rebeccaml.I couldn't really believe myself for continuing this series after the disasterous second book. But since I had liked the first book, I decided to give this one a chance. Good or bad, it is the last book anyway. And actually, it is not bad. At least, not as horrible as the last one. The plot still has a complete change in direction, but at least it has small connections to the plot of the previous book. Most of the time, [...]

I fell in love with this series long ago. I was one of those who waited eternally for the release of Stolen Nights only to have it pushed back I fell in love with Rebecca Maizel's storytelling capabilities as well as those to make one hold their breath and try not to cry. This being said.I had to order this book from the UK because it I wasn't available in the US, was it worth it, yes.Although worth it, it wasn't worth more than 3 stars and here is why.Lenah Beaudonte is an ancient being and had [...]

It's way back 2010 when I fell in love with infinite days which is the first book of the trilogy. I fell inlove through the book cover and when I started reading it I fell inlove with the contents harder so I'm sad that the story I've been anticipating has come to an end but I'm also happy that Ms. Rebecca gave a thoughtful conclusion to it. Kick-ass female protagonist, is my weak spot for a character, and Lenah is one of them. I had a connection with her since Infinite Days up to Eternal Dawn, [...]

I waited six years since reading Infinite Days to finish this triology. I wish I had left it at Infinite Days.I thought that the endings for the first and second books, as devastating as they were, could each have stood as the final ending, so when I learned that there would be a third book to round out this trilogy, I knew it would have a happy ending. Call it personal taste, but I find difficult and heart-wrenching and/or open-ended finales to be much stronger. Therefore, the ending of thus tr [...]

The problem with Eternal Dawn is the many plotholes. With Stolen Nights, those could be overlooked - after all, Eternal Days was a self-contained story with a definite end. Some sort of change was necessary to keep the story going. However, for Eternal Dawn, the need for contrived plot-devices is less excusable. Either Maizel honestly believed Stolen Nights to be the last book in the series, or she did a very poor job leaving openings for Eternal Dawn.Because in Eternal Dawn, "all that we thought [...]

Justin died as he lived.Fast and dangerous.I am sobbing. Justin is one of the most tragic characters I have read about in a long time. He had so much life and so much love in him. He didn't deserve what happened. It was beautiful and heart-breaking and he will forever have a place in my heart. I can't let myself hate him and throughout the whole book I had to let myself believe he could be redeemed. He was so good once upon a time. It was truly a tragedy what befell him.Overall though, this was [...]

This was so satisfying to read The final line made me release the biggest satisfied sigh that I've waiting in a long time. I think it is close to 5 or so years since I first read Infinite Days, and Lenah has been a character that I have carried close to my heart since then. I loved that I could finally, finally finish her story, endearing her just that little bit more to me. Rebecca Maizel is such a brilliant, fantastic reader, and I am so grateful that she wrote this series, and that she ended [...]

I love this series! I had to order it from amazon. It took me 3 weeks to get it and all I thought about everyday was where is my book? It took me 3 days to read, which means I wanted to savor it.I have to be honest though, this book is my least favorite out of the series. Simply because I found it too repetitive, the same things kept happening throughout and I just kept thinking get on with it!! This is really my only negative thought. I gave it 5 stars for the fact that the series is written re [...]

I loved Justine in the first book! I'm totally crushed by what RM has done to him here. It's not fair to have used him that way! He was a good and honest character in the first book! He loved Lenah and she loved him back! RM completely tore him down and made him evil! I just can't take it!! So mad! I'm throwing the whole series into the trash bin! What a pile of junk!
