An old fashioned cutie read. Had several nice touches, and one really disturbing aspect i've never actually seen discussed in a regency, where a female dependent relative could be preyed upon. The plucky strong heroine of this story handles the situation well, but i will admit it raised questions in my mind of how prevalent such things could be back then.

This is one of my 'comfort' reads, one of those books that I pick up when I want a clean romance with fun characters and humor that doesn't require intellectual / mental exercise.Note: Reread date not accurate.

cute and fluffy, everyone ends with their own HEA. writing is a bit childish, but perfect if you are looking for a light fun read
