My Rating: ★★★¾ actually but I'm rounding upThis was a short and spicy story. It wasn't overly erotic but was a very steamy tale. The story is pretty straight forward and the characters were well thought out for a novella -- not too complex but not cardboard either. Who doesn't love a man in a kiltwith a brogue?!?!?! *Dreamy sigh*

In this short, saucy erotic novella, romance-weary reporter Aisla Jackson travels to a castle in the Scottish Highlands to interview the local Laird. Aisla is tired of the usual corporate executive types she's been seeing. She wants a little excitement. To her that means hot sensual encounters--relationship not required.Enter Colin Fitzgerald--or Lord Brantham--as he's also known. It's his castle. He's also not a stranger to Aisla, though he doesn't want her to know that. I can't give too much a [...]

Eliza March's latest work concerns Ailsa Jackson, a journalist visiting Scotland on a mission. What is that mission? Then out of the castle comes a man in a kilt, and Ailsa i [...]

March pens a pulse-pounding sensual story with "Hot Highland Fling." Ailsa Jackson is looking for a man to satisfy her in bed. When she travels to Scotland on assignment she hopes to meet such a man. Enter Colin Fitzhugh, Lord Brantham. Colin and Ailsa were acquaintances in college. He's wanted her since, but didn't fit the "image" of the man she desired. Can Colin's highland garb and Scottish manner win her heart now?March's writing style is crisp and engaging. The reader feels like they've bee [...]

This was a quick, fun erotic read. Talk about your perfect trip to Scotland!

Pretty good! I enjoyed the premise. When Collin referred to "stuffy Americans" being off-limits, he decided to passionately embrace his Scots heritage and feigned his real role at the castle. Oka white lieThen againt telling her that they'd gone to college together.???Truth is, Ailsa wants Collin as much as he does. The love scenes were WAAAY steamier than I expected. Yikes.Very enjoyable!!!

Hmmm well I did know it was a novella going into it and I generally don't like them so not sure I can give this book a fair rating. I was into a quick light read with humor and steamy scenes. It mostly delivered on everything except the humor part. And quite frankly not sure about the steam so just giving it 2 stars

This was a short, and while we got some background info on the characters, it was hard for me to buy into their relationship moving as fast as it did. Parts of their sexing were steamy, but parts fell flat for me. I was glad that when she found out who he really was, she didn't freak out on him or push him away. It was a sweet story, but not fabulous for me.
